Reopening of Lotfabad After 9 Months

“Lotfabad” trade border with Turkmenistan will be reopened in a limited way after 9 months.

Seyed Ruhollah Latifi, the spokesman of the customs, stated: The border of Lotfabad, Khorasan Razavi, which was closed to trucks by Turkmenistan after the spread of Covid 19 ,is reopened on the 1st of December.

He added: “Currently, in the borders of” Incheh Borun “of Golestan province, the exchange of goods is done by rail and in the border of ” Sarakhs “of Khorasan Razavi by rail and road. So with the reopening of the Lotfabad border, three of four our country’s borders with Turkmenistan will be activated.
